The deshed process at Tailored Tails is a multistep regimen designed specifically to remove dead undercoat and reduce shedding after the groom, leaving your dogs coat healthy and shiny. We do NOT use Furminator products as they can damage the outer coat and not remove dead undercoat. Instead, we use specific brushing and combing techniques. This process can take anywhere from 4-6 hours depending on the breed and size of the dog and the amount of time since the last grooming.

Oral health is a veterinary recommended step in every dogs life. We use an enzymatic toothpaste and toothbrush made for dogs; then follow it up with a mint flavored breath spray that continues to break down plaque on your dog’s teeth. Your dog can even take home their toothbrush if you ask for it.

Keeping your pet and our salon parasite free is a top priority. We use an all natural parasite shampoo and follow it up with a deep conditioning skin treatment.

We will automatically treat any pet for fleas or ticks should they be discovered during the assessment or bath.

Does your pet want to make a bold fashion statement? We use only the highest quality color that is made specifically for dogs. Each color and pattern is individually designed between you and your colorist. You can choose between temporary, semi-permanent, or permanent color.

Our newest grooming add-on! Playcare is a wonderful way for your dog to get some puppy energy out before their afternoon groom, or a fun way to spend the time while you wrap up your day after their morning groom. They will be added to the play rotations for both indoor and outdoor play so they aren't waiting in the grooming kennel.
